The new sand dressage pad at the Pinehurst Harness Track is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Just got back from Wellington doing a continuing ed for my judge’s card.  Jim Brandon facility is very nice & workmanlike – not a bit different from the facilities we are lucky enough to have for our shows. But, for those of you who think showing is expensive here, check out the Wellington Dressage prize lists. In all the shows the national level classes are $60 & $65 per class. Stabling is between $125 & $185 with no bedding provided and a $25 deposit required to be cashed if the stalls are not left stripped! Office fee is $35. Judges are the same  we use, recognition fees, insurance, officials required are all the same.

Check the individual prize lists – Online entries can now be done for many shows with www.equestrianentries.com
Fill out and pay for your entry online at Equestrian Entries!

Use this “down time” to get your paperwork organized – that’s a novel thought! Go to http://www.eqverification.org/ ; follow the directions all the way to the end and save a copy to your files or print out a stack. Make sure your coggins is current for the show season. If you are mailing in your entries put the coggins and the usef/usdf membership verification back to back on 1 page. If you are using the online entry system you can send them a copy of your coggins and signature page one time and it will automatically be attached to every entry.
